Drafty AI - AI-powered legal drafting for immigration attorneys

What's New

Unified Drafting Studio (June 2026)

We've streamlined how you draft. Every entry point—whether you start from your matter dashboard, the progress tracker, or a tool card—now leads to one unified Drafting Studio. Inside, you'll see the recommended tool for the matter in front of you (based on case type and what you need next), every applicable tool organized by type, drafts already in progress, and completed drafts ready to download. No more guessing which tool fits a given filing—the system suggests next steps and routes you into specialized tools (RFE / NOID / NOIR Response Studio, Asylum / Withholding / CAT, I-601A Waiver, Translation Studio, Expert Letter Builder) automatically when the matter calls for them.

Outline Studio: Strategic Case Planning with Real Analysis

The Outline Studio (our case-strategy tool) now combines structured legal analysis with practical matter tracking.

  • Smart evidence mapping: The tool reads your uploaded exhibits and records against the applicable legal framework—surfacing which elements look supported and where gaps remain for your review
  • Gap remediation loop: Answer clarifying questions, upload targeted evidence, and re-run the analysis in place to watch gaps close as you build the record
  • Case-type awareness: EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, I-130, I-589 asylum, I-601A, and other case types are framed against their specific eligibility requirements
  • Attorney-confirmed facts: Resolve gaps and lock in your case facts; these override document-derived information across all drafting tools, so your determinations control the draft

Smarter Pre-Fill Across All Tools

When you link a matter, DraftyAI now carries over the essentials—case type, forum and jurisdiction, client details—so you're not re-typing what the matter file already holds. Interview-based drafting tools suggest document types based on the matter, and you can skip most questions; DraftyAI inserts a placeholder you edit after generation. Your firm's templates and writing-style preferences carry forward, saving keystrokes and keeping work product consistent across the team.

Citation Verification in Outlines & Drafts

We've added citation-checking capabilities. When a draft references case law, statutes, or regulations—whether to the BIA, a federal circuit, or the agency—those citations are flagged for your review so you can confirm or correct them against the source. Attorney-supplied and AI-identified citations in outlines and expert letters are surfaced the same way. This is a review aid to support your own cite-checking, not a guarantee of accuracy.

Unified File Management

All tools—from interview drafting to Outline Studio to RFE / NOID / NOIR Response Studio—now use the same organized file panel. Documents are categorized (Evidence, Client CVs, FOIA records, RFE/NOID/NOIR notices) and colleagues at your firm can share and access client documents on shared matters. No more hunting through different upload interfaces for the same case file.

RFE / NOID / NOIR Response Studio Now Links to Matters

RFE / NOID / NOIR Response Studio is now fully integrated with your matter workspace. Build and manage responses tied to a specific case, and your response drafts appear alongside the rest of the matter file. You'll see matter context as you work and can pull prior filings and records from the same matter as supporting evidence.

Improved Matter Navigation

Your matter dashboard now shows a clear path: Intake → Outline → Draft → Review → Filing-ready. Click any step to jump to that phase. The dashboard recommends your next action based on where the matter stands, and you can see at a glance how many outlines and drafts you've created for each case.

Better RFE Evidence Linking

When building RFE responses, tying evidence to the issues raised is now visual and intuitive. Auto-label exhibits (Exhibit A, B, C...) and let the system suggest which exhibits go to which contested element, or link them manually with a clearer interface—so the record maps cleanly to each ground in the notice.

Writing Style Training (Beta)

Upload sample work product from past matters to train a firm-wide writing-style guide. When you enable "Use my writing style" on a matter, DraftyAI mirrors your tone, structure, and phrasing across generated drafts—so briefs and declarations read like your firm wrote them. This feature is rolling out to beta users.

What Changed Under the Hood

We've made document analysis faster, removed the manual refreshes during outline review, and improved handling of larger case files without slowdowns. Your firm's data stays isolated from other firms and is transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections.

As always, you remain the attorney of record and in charge. Every draft is a starting point for your review and editing. DraftyAI accelerates the drafting—it doesn't replace your judgment or your professional responsibility.

DraftyAI accelerates drafting; it is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. You review, edit, and are solely responsible for every document you file.
