A case is one client matter (e.g. one I-130 family petition, one asylum application). Inside a case you can draft as many documents as you need — declarations, briefs, RFE responses, cover letters — all without consuming additional case credits.

What's the difference between a seat and a case?

A seat is one user account (an attorney or paralegal who logs in). A case is one client matter someone on your team can work on. Most solo attorneys start at the minimum (1 seat + 10 cases for $250/mo). Larger teams add seats as they add staff, and add cases as their matter volume grows.

Why is my first seat included?

Every firm needs at least one attorney to use the platform, so we bundle the first seat into your case allowance. Additional attorneys and paralegals are $100 per seat per month.

What happens if I add or remove seats or cases mid-period?

We prorate the difference automatically through Chargebee. Adding mid-month adds a partial-month charge; removing mid-month credits the unused portion to your next invoice.

Why do extra cases get cheaper after the first 10?

We pass on the volume discount. The first 10 cases are $25 each (so 10 cases = $250). Cases 11 and beyond are $10 each. At 35 cases your bill is $500 — the same as our legacy Growth plan — and it scales smoothly from there.

At that point Enterprise pricing also drops below the calculator's volume rate.
