About Javier
Javier Garcia is a 4x founder and CTO of Drafty AI. An MIT-trained aerospace engineer and Y Combinator alumnus, he has built data and AI systems from MITRE defense contracts to Amazon seller automation - and now applies that depth to legal technology for immigration attorneys.
Javier co-founded Mayan, a growth automation platform for Amazon sellers accepted into Y Combinator's Winter 2021 batch (1% acceptance rate). He also co-founded Clara Consulting with Antuan Vazquez, building AI, cloud, and data engineering solutions for enterprises.
At MITRE, Javier spent five years building radar models and cross-platform systems for Department of Defense stakeholders. His earlier work at MIT's Space Systems Lab and Kavli Institute contributed to NASA's TESS exoplanet satellite mission. That engineering rigor now powers Drafty AI's architecture.
